Evaluation of Ni-Doped Tricobalt Tetroxide with Reduced Graphene Oxide: Structural, Photocatalysis, and Antibacterial Response

Cobalt oxide (Co3O4) nanoparticles were successfully prepared by sol–gel and hydrothermal methods for antibacterial photocatalytic applications with the addition of 1%, 4% nickel (Ni), reduced graphene (rGO). The structural morphological properties obtained XRD, TEM FESEM techniques. showed typical crystallographic planes to cubic phase particles inferior diameter 30 nm. Ni-Co3O4 + rGO nanocrystals exhibit a band gap value 2.0 eV. bactericidal tests S. aureus E. coli revealed that insertion synthesized method promoted antimicrobial activity both microorganisms. Afterward, assay atrazine contaminant significant responses pesticide removal attributed simultaneous adsorption degradation process. In addition, process found better response in presence rGO, indicating nanocomposite superior synergism.
